LAWRENCE COUNTY REPRESENTATIVE PAYEE PROGRAM

 

The Representative Payee Program assists consumers receiving Social Security benefits and who are struggling to manage their Social Security and SSI payments. Consumers are provided with hands-on assistance with monetary tasks such as budgeting, paying bills, enrollment in assistance programs and debt reduction.

The Representative Payee acts on behalf of you, the beneficiary. A Payee is responsible everything related to benefits that a capable beneficiary would do for himself or herself. The Social Security Administration encourages Representative Payees to be actively involved in the beneficiary’s life.

Through education, awareness and support, the Representative Payee Program hopes that all clients will one day be able to manage their own money.

If you are already signed up for this program, but are requesting additional funds, please fill out the form below. To receive any additional funds the conditions listed must be met.

Request must be made 7-10 business days in advance for request to be granted.

Receipts must be returned within 7 days of purchase.

If receipts are not returned within 7 days, request for extra allowances will not be granted to a period of 60 days.
